boring-ness of a wonderful sunday

Last sunday (which was yesterday), I spent the WHOLE day IN THE ROOM~~ O.O

I woke about quarter past 10 then i washed my face (including go poo la) then after that i turn on my laptop i started reading for my test tomorrow. and i read.. and read.. and read.. and read.. and cleaned my room a bit in the middle and read.. then my friend nudged me asking me to go makan.. only then i notice that holy crap it was already 6.30 in the evening?? i'm like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? my whole day gone?? it was a sunday lagi..aih the sadness that surrounded me.. ( trying to be dramatic oni la) anyways, that was how i spent my whole sunday.. =(

Owhh yea REEEEEEEWIND!!

I almost forgot~~ On Friday, my whole team went out for shopping! We were supposed to be resting on the weekends and practicing on the weekdays but we tau lan on the Friday to go shopping! hehe.. boring ma practice everyday.. spent a whole 5 hours there and after that we went to makan at outback steakhouse! whoa the steak there mou dak deng la.. too bad i was stuffed or else i would eat more..haha!

That's about it for now and its back to school again.. looking forward to this saturday, will be leaving for florida!! XD

the cold season is here??

It's not even half way through the semester and it's starting to get cold? =s This is not good..might mean less golf for me! It's only a lil less than 20 celcius and im already freezing! well, it is most probably due to the strong wind. I still went for practice though but it was so cold! For the fact that I come from a country that's hot a whole year round I dressed as if it was snowing! =D

The condition in north carolina right now aint that good. Strong winds followed by rain are expected few days in a row =(( In a way is good lah i get a break from golf. hehe.. but then the thing is i will be playing a tourney again very soon and that aint good!! :S

It is the weekends again! and today me and me team mates going shawping! =) It an hours drive though~~ waste of time la.. I cant wait!! hehe.. will post out the pictures tonight! if i got take la.. Have a great night! ;)

improvement~~

I've been so busy the past week that I didn't even have time to blog. I have just returned from Alburqueque, New Mexico =) We went up to the peak of the Sandia Mountain.

The view from the top was stunning! Sandia simply means watermelon. wondering why? Simply because when the sun shines on the mountain, it would look exactly like a watermelon =)

The tram ride was about 15 minutes and it is the longest in the world!! I used to think the one in Langkawi Island was the longest =X

To be honest with you during summer (which is now!) there's nothing much you can do up there but during winter is when you would ski all the way down from the top of the 10,378 feet mountain =) sounds exciting le~~ wish i could go skiing one day! We went to the little room where there were some information on the mountain and the forest that it holds and we were busy taking pictures only lah~~ Enjoy!!

weekend!! yay!!

Aahh.. wonderful~~ Once again it is time for a relaxing weekend! That's the only thing that keeps me going for the whole week. A nice weekend without classes and school! It had been a long week trying to catch up with the few days I have been away from school.. Tiring as well! recuperating from the 11 straight hours of golf.. It was too much for a day when I found out that I actually have a test next week! *ehem* not one but 3 tests!! can u believe it! a few days away and the next week I am having 3 exams!! Owhh well, thank god I will be away again for a tournament and hopefully that will give me some time to study for it =X

This next time, I will be going to the state of New Mexico. The weather would most probably be warmer there according to my coach. Hopefully!! :s But im more prepared this time! will wear more clothing! XD can u imagine, I would most probably be able to roll around like a donut if i do!

The guys would be leaving for Colorado tomorrow so, Good Luck to them! =D 4 degrees! haha..
It's been wonderful since I got here. Glad that I have a very wonderful team. Nice teammates and a very cute coach! Indeed, soon enough I will get a cute picture of him and I will show it to all! ahahx..

Owhh well, I guess that's all I have to say for tonight. Hopefully i will have some time to blog tomorrow! Adios~

my first collegiate tournament!!

Hola~~ I finally got to play my first collegiate tournament but i ended up screwing it :( It was such a long and not so sweet weekend for me..It was the first time i wore so many layers to play golf!! I wore 2 under armours, one golf shirt, a jacket and a rain coat. Do the math! I couldn't swing my club properly!! It was funny though.. In the morning, everyone was busy practicing and warming up,getting ready to play and I stood there like a stump shaking and shivering from top to bottom! I even wore two layers of long pants!! You wont believe it but the temperature then was 4 degrees ay ;) (it was as cold as my fridge back home!) So, you can imagine the torture..

Though torturing it was a good experience! =) freezing cold compared to blazing hot back home. Friends back in campus was complaining that they were stuck in their rooms without tv and internet the whole day! muahaha.. I got outta there just in time!!

This trip, the golf course was situated in the middle of a elite housing estate. The houses were so beautiful!!the house that i got to stay in was magnificient!! It is called homestay. The people normally invites teams for the tournament to stay with them and our team got to stay with this wonderful couple. They had three kids but all were off to college so we occupied the rooms for a few nights =) The rooms were so pretty and the beds were so cosy!! On the last night, we sneeked into their kitchen after packing to whack up the cookies and chocolate milk! We giggled so much that it woke them up and they eventually joined us for the cookies =) They were so sweet! Thank you Mr. Coburn and Sue!

On the first day it was the first time ever I walked straight 11 hours!! Could you believe it? I even had my lunch while walking!! It was an awesome experience! After dinner, I showered and the next thing you know I was FLAT! Didnt even dry my hair..It was the best sleep I have had in such a long time!! =) However, the last day, I finished playing at 2.30.
Flight time : 4.30
Time to airport : 1 hour.
We got there at 3.48 and the gate closed 3.45. Haha.. We missed the flight by 4 freaking minutes!! After having to rush our butts there like nobody's business, the lady nicely told us ''I'm so sorry sir but you MISSED the flight by 4 minutes!!'' We were like "WHAT???!!!" My coach tried to fly us to Las Vegas, Florida, New York, everywhere but couldnt cuz, we missed the last flight of the day!! It was unbelieveable! We ended up staying somewhere 30 minutes from the airport, woke up at 4 to catch the next flight at 7 the next morning.. Finally got back at around 4 and went straight to bed =D

Hanna is here!!

I'm leaving in a couple of hours for Colorado State for my first collegiate tournament ( yay!!) and im still sitting here, only half packed, biting into a red juicy apple when the thing I should probably be doing right now is to go to bed!! Its exactly 2 in the morning and i leave at 7 for the airport!


Gosh, i can't help but to think about the hurricane that is about to hit Buies Creek! It was forecasted to hit this tiny town at 2 in the morning but it seems to me that it isn't quite here yet! =s Good thing also la hor.. Cause logically I have to be running for my life right now! Even my room mate ditched me and balik kampung la.. lol.. All over US people talking about the hurricanes la.. They even named the hurricanes Hanna, Josephine and Gustav! Interesting hah.. I wonder when are they gonna name it after me? hehe.. =)


All these people and their funny ideas.. I really hope the storm don't reach the airport before us eh or else it's gonna delay the flight!! :'( So tomorrow would be the first day that I actually travel with my new team!! yeehah!! hope my first trip would be a good one and hopefully i play well lah.. I will update with alot of pictures okay.. ;) (at least i would adapt the habit of taking pictures first la..) *smiles*

a whole new life!

It seems like i have abandoned my blog for some time..I have actually been busy for SOMEtime but now I'm back! I arrived safely in the US about half a month ago =) It's hot like mad here! It's the same as Malaysia or even hotter!
Anyways, life here's been good so far and college life is really different don't u think joanne? haha.. This campus drove me nuts at first! It was so freaking big and I had to walk back and forth to get my schedule done not like high school where u just follow and school compound is so small (my flip flops was all worned out by the end of the week! XD)!! Thank god it is all settled now =)

I miss Malaysia!!Gosh! I miss the food, friends, the system there (dont believe im saying this le), and most of all my family!! Everybody's gotta leave home one day so appreciate it while u're still there! Owhh yea, the American slang!! haha..its so funny to hear it all the time! I mean we usually hear it in movies or maybe on tv and that's it but then here I listen to it every minute!!
Kinda difficult to understand what they say sometimes.. I have so much problem listening to my professors esp. my Western Civilisation class!! For the love of god i hope start understanding him soon!! =D


Fooh! the golf courses here are way much nicer than the ones back home! That i have to agree.. just superb! Will start traveling again soon for tournaments! :) Can't wait for that! Hope you guys back home are having fun! I've gotta go get my laundry done now so Adios for now!! ;)
